Revolutionary War Ceremony

On September 12, 2021, at 3:00pm, the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution held a patriot grave marking ceremony at the Old Town Ceremony located at the corner of W. Monroe St. and S. Perry St. The grave marked was for patriot Captain Thomas Reagan,  who enlisted in the South Carolina militia in the spring of 1779. He was born in 1749 and passed away in 1838 at the age of 88. There were several attendees, including a few of his descendants who still reside in Clinton County. The event was conducted by the William Henry Harrison Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.
